Questions we get a lot

Everything you need to know before applying. Don't see your question? Reach out anytime.

How much does this cost?
It really depends on the kind of experience you're looking for!

If you're down to be part of something fun and share your story, you can apply to be featured for free. We review submissions and choose moments that feel like a great fit for what we're creating. It's all about capturing real, entertaining experiences to share on our social channels.

If you've got something bigger or more meaningful coming up and want to make sure it's fully captured, you can book us directly with our paid packages. That route includes a more hands-on, professional approach with dedicated filming, expanded equipment, and intentional coverage of your event from start to finish.
Why would I do this?
Because it's a chance to step into the spotlight and capture a moment of your life in a way you normally wouldn't.
Will I be mic'd the whole time?
Yes. You'll wear a small wireless mic so we can capture clear audio throughout the day. This helps bring out real conversations and reactions. There will be clear instructions on how to mute or turn off the mic in the event that you need privacy for a moment (bathroom, private conversation, etc.).
Will other people be recorded too?
Yes, especially if they are part of your day. Any key participants will need to sign a release form if they are prominently featured.
Can you film anywhere?
Not always. Some locations like private businesses, venues, or events may not allow filming. We'll work with you ahead of time to plan around this when possible or try to capture on other devices like cellphones that are more acceptable in those areas.
Is this staged or scripted?
No. While there may be light guidance, everything is based on real moments and real interactions.
Can I do this with friends?
Absolutely. Group dynamics often make for the most entertaining and memorable episodes.
How long does filming last?
It depends on the day or event you are looking to capture. It can range from a couple of hours to a full day.
Do I need to be comfortable on camera?
Not at all. Most people aren't at first. You'll naturally get more comfortable as the day goes on, and the best moments usually come from just being yourself. For most of it you are just living in the moment as if the camera isn't there and we will try to be as unobtrusive as we can in order to make things as comfortable as possible.
What's the difference between documentary and reality style?
Documentary is more intentional and cinematic, with interviews and a clear story arc. While still not entirely 'scripted' there is still a more defined goal. This would be good for something like telling the story of your graduation, or a big championship event, or a particular difficult moment.

Reality style is more candid and unscripted, capturing real-time moments and interactions. Generally a more laid-back vibe with a higher emphasis on letting things unfold and putting together the story afterwards. Think Love is Blind (after they leave the pods), Love Island, or some other reality show with love in the name (except there will probably be far less bombshells).
What are "talking head" or interview segments?
These are short moments where you speak directly to the camera about what's happening, how you're feeling, or what happened earlier. Think reality show confessionals. This allows us to shape the story a bit more and get insights on how everyone felt as things unfolded. While not 'scripted', these segments will be more guided where you will be asked things like 'how did you feel when Brandon was yelling at you earlier' and provide your response.
Do I need to plan everything out?
You can come in with a fully planned idea, a general concept, or we just let things happen on the day. Part of the experience is letting things unfold naturally.
Will you guide what happens during the day?
Lightly. I may suggest moments, ask questions, or introduce ideas to help shape the story, but the goal is to keep things feeling real and natural.
How long is the final video?
It depends on the event and the day itself, but most videos range anywhere from 10 to 45 minutes. The more eventful the situation, the longer the video will be. A better estimate can be provided once we know what you are looking to capture.
When will I receive my video?
Final delivery is typically within 2 to 3 weeks after filming.
Can I review the video before it's posted?
You will receive your full video before things get posted publicly. Depending on the agreement, we will likely be posting the video and clips on various social medias, but if there is anything specific you need omitted for privacy, we can discuss and adjust.
Will my video be posted online?
For free or promotional shoots, yes. For paid shoots, you can choose whether or not you want it shared publicly.
Who owns the final video?
You do. Once your episode is delivered, you have full personal use rights, share it wherever you want. We retain the right to use short clips for our portfolio and marketing with your prior consent, but you can opt out of this during the booking process.
Is there an application fee?
Applying is completely free. If you choose to book us directly via one of our paid packages, the application for that is also free. For paid packages, payment wouldn't be required until after we have discussed and finalized the booking with you.
What if something goes wrong on the day: weather, cancellations, etc.?
Life happens. If it is a free promotional shoot, we can likely just find another day without issue. Just make sure you communicate with us.

For paid shoots, if you need to reschedule, just give us at least 72 hours notice and we'll find a new date at no extra charge. For weather-dependent shoots, we build a backup plan during the pre-production call so the day can flex without losing momentum.
